Electronic markers with semi auto/MY-NPL, PSP burst & Millennium ramp mode only/allowed.
Each team will consists of ten (10)active players on their roster and shall field a maximum of seven (7) players in every game.

My-NPL 2008 - Promotions

The Malaysian National Paintball League (MY-NPL) HQ is pleased to announce: -
It had been decided in the Malaysian Paintball Player’s Council (MY-NPL/MPPC) that in 2009 season (cycle 4), Division 1 will be in seven (7) men format.
For Division 1 only in 2009.
- Each team will consists of ten (10) active players on their roster and shall field a maximum of seven (7) players in every game.
- Open to all D1 teams in Asian region.
- Electronic markers with semi auto/NPPL mode allowed.
At the end of the 2008 season, only the champion team in Div2 will be promoted to the 2009 Div1. Other top Div2 teams can opt for self promotion too as Div1 will now be 7men.
The top 6 teams in Div3 will be promoted to the 2009 Div2.
The bottom-ranked D1 teams of 2008 will NOT be relegated to D2 in 2009.
For Division 2 ,3 &4 in 2009.
- Each team will consists of seven (7) active players on their roster and shall field a maximum of five (5) players in every game.
Division 2 (Novice)
Open to all Div2 teams in Asian region.

No over the phone confirmation of registrations. All entries must be paid through online or cheque only. Registration must be submited 5days before the event date. Late entries will not be entertain. Changes in team rosters are allowed but need to send to MY-NPL HQ for Malaysian PaintBall Players' Council (MPPC) approval.

This is the second visit by MY-NPL to the ground of Dataran Ayer Keroh, Melaka. Special thanks to our city council Majlis Bandaraya Melaka Bersejarah (MBMB), for a opportunity to bring MY-NPL to Malacca the historical city.

The Malaysian National Paintball League (MY-NPL) are pleased to announce the opening of team registration for the event 3 of the 2008 MY-NPL. Registration is now open for all Teams. For more information on registration details, please read below.

No over the phone confirmation of registrations. All entries must be paid through online or cheque only. Registration must be submited 5days before the event date. Late entries will not be entertain. Changes in team rosters are allowed but need to send to MY-NPL HQ / MY-NPL MPPC for approval.

Drop by for a while at Dataran Merdeka on Saturday (22/03/2008). Saw lotsa familiar faces. But the best thing is in Div 1, there are only 4 teams. X-Menz, Raskal, Nemesis & Demonz Red. When arrives at Dataran, game between Raskal & Demonz Red is on-going and if not mistaken Raskal took that game 3-2. By the way, Div 1 format is M7, race to 3 points.

For the 3rd year, the series will be returning to the grounds of Petaling Jaya for it opening of the season (Event 1). PJ has proven to be a great host city to the MY-NPL & it feeder events. Special thanks to our city council Majlis Bandaraya Petaling Jaya (MBPJ). Petaling Jaya truly a City of PaintBall.

The Malaysian National Paintball League (MY-NPL) is hosting an official MY-NPL Malaysian Paintball Referee Organization (M.P.R.O.) referee course at Malaysian Paintball Academy, located Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
The training class will be taught by Official from The Malaysian National Paintball League (MY-NPL)& Malaysian Paintball Referee Organization (M.P.R.O.). This dynamic course covers the art of officiating sanctioned MY-NPL events. Referees will gain knowledge on safety, positioning, rules, making the right call, paintball equipment support, protocol and general guidelines for refereeing major tournaments. The class will be both on the field and in the classroom.

How to set up Eclipse markers for 2008 PSP Rules

In order to comply with the new 2008 PSP rule regarding gun firing modes, we recommend that Eclipse markers should be configured as follows -
Ego 7 / Ego 8
1. Enter the Setup menu;
2. Select (PRESET) (LOAD) and choose the PSP option;
3. Select (MAX ROF) and set the value to 13.0*;
4. Select (OFF ROF) and set the value to 13.0* or less (recommend 12.0);
5. Select (PRESET) (SAVE) and choose the USER 1 option to save these settings for future use.
6. Exit the Setup menu;
7. Check the rate of fire on a league approved ROF meter.
Ego 5 / Ego 6
1. Enter the Setup menu;
2. Select (MODE) and choose the RAMP 1 or PSP option;
3. Select (ROF CAP) and set the value to 13.0*;
4. Select (OFF ROF) and set the value to 13.0* or less (recommend 12.0);
5. Exit the Setup menu;
6. Check the rate of fire on a league approved ROF meter.
Etek / Etek 2
1. Enter the Setup menu;
2. Select Firing Mode (red) and set the value to 03.0 (Ramp 1);
3. Select Maximum ROF (green) and set the value to 13.0*;
4. Select Maximum ROF with BBSS Disabled (blue) and set the value to 13.0 or less (recommend 12.0);
5. Exit the Setup menu;
6. Check the rate of fire on a league approved ROF meter.
Planet Eclipse no longer provides software updates for the eBlade platform, however the following may prove useful in setting these products up to be compliant
E2 / Zero B
1. Fit fresh batteries to the loader that will be used and set the loader speed as required;
2. Enter the Setup menu;
3. Select (MODE) and choose the RAMP 1 or PSP option;
4. Set the COFF parameter to 40ms;
5. Enable the breech sensor;
6. Shoot the gun so that it ramps and measure the ROF on a rate of fire meter;
7. Adjust the COFF parameter and repeat 6 until the ROF is 13.0bps* (increasing COFF reduces ROF);
8. Check that CDELAY + CON + COFF is greater than 77ms and if not then increase CON;
9. Exit the Setup menu;
10. Check the rate of fire on a league approved ROF meter.
E1 (eBlade)
1. Fit fresh batteries to the loader that will be used and set the loader speed as required;
2. Enter the Setup menu;
3. Set the COFF parameter to 40ms;
4. Enable the breech sensor;

*The rate of fire settings on Egos are accurate however not all rate of fire meters will read the same. We recommend that guns be set on the safe side of the legal limit. The difference between 13.0 and 13.33bps is only 1 extra ball every 39 shots!

3. Select Maximum ROF (green) and set the value to 13.0*;

6. Check the rate of fire on a league approved ROF meter.

7. Adjust the COFF parameter and repeat 6 until the ROF is 13.0bps* (increasing COFF reduces ROF);
8. Check that CDELAY + CON + COFF is greater than 77ms and if not then increase CON;
9. Exit the Setup menu;
10. Check the rate of fire on a league approved ROF meter.
E1 (eBlade)

In order to comply with the new Millennium rule regarding gun firing modes, Eclipse markers should be configured as follows -
Ego 7 / Ego 8
1. Enter the Setup menu;
2. Select (PRESET) (LOAD) and choose the MILLEN option;
3. Select (MAX ROF) and set the value to 11.8*;
4. Select (OFF ROF) and set the value to 11.8*;
5. Select (RAMP SET) (KICK IN) and set the value to 6.0;
6. Select (RAMP SET) (SUSTAIN) and set the value to 6.0;
7. Select (PRESET) (SAVE) and choose the USER 1 option to save these settings for future use.
8. Exit the Setup menu;
9. Check the rate of fire on a league approved ROF meter.
Ego 5 / Ego 6
1. Enter the Setup menu;
2. Select (MODE) and choose the RAMP 3** option;
3. Select (ROF CAP) and set the value to 11.8*;
4. Select (OFF ROF) and set the value to 11.8*;
